What is the best color mode and resolution for the web?

***web images use RGB color and a resolution of 72 ppi

What color mode and resolution is a standard print image ?

> standard print is CMYK  and has a resolution of 300 ppi ( pixels per inch.) 




What color mode and resolution does a digital camera capture?

>digital cameras capture images as RGB at 72 ppi or slightly higher 





Why would you want to change the resolution and camera mode?

> modify an image that was taken with a digital camera, and properly prepare it for print. 




If you uncheck Resample image and change the resolution , what happens to the document size?

> it will shrink the pixel in the printout 




What does Resampling mean?


> means to "add"
